universal keyword suffix for all the pages or not?

    Many programs (CMS, blog, ...) allow or sometimes even almost enforce you to have a universal suffix in the title of every page on your site.

    So that, say, your site main title is "cheap widgets", and all your pages have title like:

    "The review of the blue widget : cheap widgets"
    "New widgets released : cheap widgets"

    Is it good or bad to have the same phrase in each title? I'm leaning towards the bad, but no experience with that so far...
    Also, a premium question :), is it the same with all search engines?
