Not only don't you understand that our world was built with truth, you now don't know the meaning of hypocrisy! If I say one thing and do another, that is hypocrisy. If I say one thing and my country says another, that's not hypocrisy, that's democracy. Shovel as much crap as you like but the truth will always be the truth. All you do is make yourself look worse, if that's at all possible.

Our world was built with truth? Who built it? Allah? How did he convert the truth into raw materials? How does one convert truth into living beings? Stop mumbling nonsense.

You complain about the US stance on immigration but you don't complain about your own country's much tougher stance on immigration. That is hypocrisy. Figure it out.

Ho ho ho you yo-yo. Made me borrow a photo from popo.

You mean the planed one did not work this time around but surely there is another one around the corner to convince the public of their harrowing need to button up and kiss ass.

There is a void in predicting the next 6 months economic conditions that will be a most interesting DJIA for January.

Hardly a sole seems to disagree with you, excluding myself.

Bernanke is a student of economic history turned loose by the current Administration and will prove contrary to bogart and continue the progress already accomplished creating the most dynamic economic acceleration of its own accord and one not beholding to reactionary sterility derived from war mongering and anti-isms.

I'm not complaining about US stance. That seems to be working fine as more & more people seem to be arriving according to you. I'm complaining about YOUR stance, because it's wrong. Simple.

Stop spending billions trying to protect yourselves and stealing everyone elses oil, you'll have more than enough to go around. Your support for war is your flawed argument & you're trying to build up a case around that. This has led you down the wrong path & only heightens the opinion I have of you as a less than worthless member of society.

    This should explain why.

Holy shit ! WTF is wrong whit you ppl ? This thread was about the US economy not about some bloody liberal squabble . I rarely post here simply because i find it stupid for an outsider to believe he can understand the US economy better then a citizen . Yet here we are looking at people like Bushyboy and Popytalk trolling the hell out of thread they prolly don't even understand . I say this calls for a nice ban .

Hey poxylips, if you wanna play with nicks then let's go for it. I know it's part of your nature to not get it quite right but your nick is more playable than mine. Sorry.

Now, all of the posts I post here are relevant to the topic. Whilst a few right wingers have had control of this thread so far, it's time to get to the real reasons you got into it. Paying too much out for a war, err 6 wars, & crooked people on Wall street made it all fall down, taking away the extra funds you would have had if you weren't out helping oil companies keep control whilst destroying the planet along the way.

PLUS, This US led depression infiltrated the entire world so is entirely appropriate for any country to take part in it.

Oh my god, yes! It does explain why! Your poor understanding of these issues may be as simple issue of garbage in garbage out. Between your left wing online polls, and your crap youtube news from a group of hacks who can't even get even afford an echo deadening microphone, its no wonder your head is so jam packed with idiocy. This quote is a great example:
Maybe you can enlighten me on how my stance differs from the US stance, either in terms of popular support, or current laws applicable to immigrants. Given the numerous links to US polling and legal data in this thread, you should already be aware of how erroneous and loony your arguments and accusations are. Further evidence that you, and your opinions remain staunchly in the left wing lunatic fringe within your country, and mine.

Speaking of left wing lunatics, as we call them(you), maybe this will cheer you up:
Big fans of the peace loving Wikileaks organization, I have no doubt.

Ok it's time to play Dora.
I don't know if you mean Papi is for the Spanish Word meaning Father or Poppy the plant which is a Schedule II extract drug defined by the Drug Enforcement Administration of the US. Either way you are resorting to name calling in which I haven't done to you. Comprende Amigo.

Now open your mouth and repeat after me.
    Popo is from the Philippines.
He lives in the East Coast.
Particularly in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

Now close your mouth and we will do this next time around for your learning therapy.

The only person so far who has a lot of sense to explain things to me is Obamanation. It's so good to get others opinion. I just don't stick to mine. I get that. It's how it works.

If asking about legal and illegal immigration is trolling to you then you can start looking at your posts. As it looks like hypocrisy to me.

Why the trolling straw man argument? Much easier to say the obvious. Repeat after me:

"No, I can not provide a quote from you showing your views conflict with current American immigration law, or even popular opinion in America. I realize you don't blame the immigrants for the depression you are still in, but I had no legitimate comeback, so I just said that."

Try it out. You'll feel better.

David Stockman, Reagan’s budget director from 1981 to 1985, says, “I invest in anything that Bernanke can’t destroy, including gold, canned beans, bottled water and flashlight batteries.”

Stockman states, "We are not in a conventional business cycle recovery, so stimulus is futile and just adds needlessly to the $9 trillion of Treasury paper already floating dangerously around world financial markets. Instead, after 40 years of profligate accumulation of public and private debt, and reckless money-printing by the Fed, we had an economic crash landing, which left us with an enduring structural breakdown, not just a cyclical downturn."

There is no solid, above board, main street recovery. US national income is $300 billion below 2008 levels.

What you call a recovery is a stock market bubble bases on euphoria and over consumption by the middle class. An interesting insight on the stock market is that there are 10k day traders in China trading tens of thousands of shares. Market fraud and pension fund scandals are rampant. It's just a matter of time become another financial crisis is triggered.

    2011 has the following dangers

    1) PIIGS debt crisis
    2) Double dip on the housing crash followed by failed banks and stock market crash
    3) 10% Unemployment
    4) $1.4 trillion US deficit and out of control spending
    4) Pension crisis and State/Local bond defaults
    California $200-500 billion unfunded liabilities
    Nevada
    Michigan
    New Jersey
    Illinois

I wish that I had said that :D

Legislators from at least 6 states say they will propose bills similar to Arizona’s law

Next week, at least five states plan to begin an unusual coordinated effort to cancel automatic United States citizenship for children born in this country to illegal immigrant parents.

“The federal government’s failure to enforce our border has functionally turned every state into a border state,” said Randy Terrill, a Republican representative in Oklahoma who has led the drive for anti-illegal immigration laws there. “This is federalism in action,” he said. “The states are stepping in and filling the void left by the federal government.”

All the empty land you are talking about is actually a gigantic flood plain. That's why its empty!

Australia floods cover an area larger than France and Germany combined.

    @popotalk

The US cannot go on spending like the Weimar Republic forever. Everybody want theirs. Homeowners want a bailout, people want 99 weeks of unemployment, people want free healthcare. Add the immigration problem to the mix and the US is going bankrupt.

Every ethnic group wants more visas for their family and country. The Irish want more visa, the Mexicans want more visas, the Koreans want more visas etc.

The unemployment rate is as follows:
    No College - 20%
2 year degree or no skill sets - 10%
    Degree/Skill sets 4.5%

Here's the question for you? Do you beleive that the US can continue to pay 99 weeks unemployment to US citizens and Legal Residents and at the same time continue to provide visas to unskilled workers and employement to 20 million illegal aliens?

Awesome quote. That really brings things into perspective.

People... just... don't... get... this. Their view of history doesn't go past the middle of the last century. The think what they have seen over the last sixty years as "normal" -- but they are wrong. They will eventually discover that we are in a "new normal" which is more historically average -- and very much unlike the last sixty years.

    Happy New Year!

We do have huge flood plains except when we are in drought but it's a huge country and I've travelled it far & wide. There's a huge amount of non-flood prone, government owned, viable land that could be used for new towns.
