    Hello,

I would like to sell my classifieds website. The URL is www.hullads.com

Originally the website was setup on stuff4hull.com which is a valid Google PR2, but I decided that HullAds.com was the better domain so I did a permanent redirect, the sale will come with the Stuff4hull.com domain also.

My website allows users to list their second hand items for sale in the Hull & East Riding area. Although this website is specifically targeting one area, you have huge scope to create sub sites, and offer the service on a wider scale across the U.K and other U.K based cities.

It's currently free to list an item for sale, although there is premium options which allow users to pay a small amount (£1.00) to upgrade their listing to either a header featured listing, or add a styling/border around it.

The average daily unique visitors is 500, although some days we get a hell of a lot more, highest days are 1400-1600 unique visitors. I have optimized the website very well, and it's ranking well for numerous keywords, and a majority of traffic is from the search engines.

It currently earns on average £80.00 per month on google adsense, highest month £140.00, lowest month £70.00, this is over a course of 5 months. I have one advertiser who pays £150 per quarter for a 720 x 80 advert (in the footer site-wide) this was originally agreed to be in the header site-wide but once I switched to the new design/system, I placed it in the footer, and the person was happy with this as I was making 1 post a week to our facebook page advertising his business.

4 adverts have just expired (250x250) image adverts, and i'm currently in the process of contacting the advertisers to see if they would like to renew, 3 of which have done so over the past 3-4 months, each advertiser was paying £25 per month.

Also included with the sale is the facebook page http://www.facebook.com/stuff4hull which currently has almost 6,500 users/likes, it is a very active page, and I have not really used it to my advantage yet, as I didn't want to really market things hard incase the community don't like it.

I'm looking for interested parties, and would really like to sell to someone close to home (or in the U.K). Someone that can continue the website, and take it to the next level, whilst taking care of it's community.

I don't want any time wasters, nor do I want any members trying to knock my price down without being realistic.

The price I would like for all of the above, including my support for 2 months during the handover process is £750.00

For what your getting, it's a blooming good price. Sale is due to personal reasons, and I will be sad to see this go.

If you need any information, including revenue shots just ask, I would not like to disclose publicly.

    Thank you

Why are you trying to entice people to a new facebook page currently ? Would you be willing to sign an Non Compete to ensure you do not continue in the niche ? Obviously a major concern when seeing you promoting another page with in the group is you selling this site and then its main target audince suddenly up sticks and leave the group.

    Hello,

    I would sign a NCA.

The facebook page I was enticing people to join is included with the sale also, as is the other facebook pages I have that has 30-50 more likes on each page. I was trying to target another keyword on facebook page search and stuff4sale is a good one around this area, so hopefully the other page I have made starts to grow naturally like mine has.

    Thanks

Ok if they are included thats fine, Also another question...I see you are also now selling the script the site runs on : http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2431089

Obviously a the main pull of this is to retain the website being unique, Selling the script with the design kind of defeats the object. Would you include full rights to the script ( so i can not be resold ) with the sale ?

And lastly could you send me the PDF document for the Google anaytics to review please.

I will forward all the screenshots to your e-mail as requested via private message.

With regards to your second question, I was thinking of a way of obtaining funds that I needed without having to sell my business, as it's hard to let it go in all honesty.

I have not sold any copies of the script since posting the threads this morning, and I have just edited them and said that the system is no longer for sale.

With regards to full right's of the script, I would have to increase my price to £1,000. I spent a lot of work on the system, and it really is unique. I had offers from various script resellers/theme resellers last month requesting to buy a copy to resell, which I of course turned down.

As the position i'm in now, I must sell up really. And along with the system it's self, and the revenue, along with the facebook page and potential the business holds, it's really a good solid investment for anyone.

Google analytics is a statistic software I currently do not use, the reason for this is it seems to "disable" some of my jquery/ajax features on my web system when it's included in the page, it basically stops the ajax and smart functions from loading.

    Information coming in e-mail now.

    Thank you

Thanks for the reply, Im happy with what you have said. Although the Google Analytics's could be the stumbling block, its the only thing that i would hold as a viable proof of traffic and statistic especially when spending £1000.

I will review the documents you send once i get them and get back to you later today.
