    Hey folks,

I'm currently making huge preparations to market a $2500 giveaway contest and looking for some advice as to the different method tools I can use to grab exposure for this.

I'm looking for unique ways to create more exposure here, or things you've done in the past to generate a lot of interested eyeballs gearing towards your site.

For my site, all it takes is a simple opt-in and stay within the list for the duration of the contest.

    Any ideas? More info needed?

One of the most effective ways would be contacting JV partners, particularly those with big lists, to participate in the giveaway contest with you. You can somehow figure out a way to reward them on your end (ie. monetary commission, new subscribers, etc.).

Check out EveryoneWillWinContest.com for an example and tips of organizing such giveaways.

simon: Funny how you mention that. I'm already been doing that. But finding the right list owners has been more complicated than my proposal itself.

You could run some banner ads on high traffic websites for a day or two or submit to something like digg.com

technie: Last I heard, banner ads generate a 1% conversion. So it'd have to depend on the cost and the unique traffic.

Depending on what your company is, this could work. How about a press release? you could send it to PRWeb and other online sites, but also send them to all the radio, tv, and newspapers in your area. I did once and wound up with a story about my business in the paper.
