    Having the search bar as the main focus of your page is against Google's TOS. They'll shut you down eventually. I like your domain name though. I just think you should do something else with the site concept.

    I'm not trying to hijack his thread but it is definately against their TOS. Another member here had the same idea and his got shut down last week. However, in his defence, I do like the name and I think the new owner should simply take the focus off the Google search bar and use it for something else. Its still a good domain to bid on.

    Can you provide info on where to view this in their TOS. http://www.blackle.com/ is a very well known site and they have been doing this for years.

    Please provide a link to this on the Google site saying its against TOS.. sorry but too many people pull comments like this out of the ass without really knowing what they are talking about..

    There are few sites using Google CS like ripple.org etc.. the only thing Google does not like is when sites like this say please click our links or search with us and we will make money etc..or save the enviroment blahh..

    the reason why blackle is going legally is because they use google custom search, NOT adsense search.

    It's hard to tell the difference sometimes. The search bar on one of my own sites looks EXACTLY the same, but its for adsense. If this site is not related to adsense, then please accept my apologies, as that was what I was referring too, and not Google in general. Yes, it does look like Blackle. Sorry about the confusion.

    Its only against the tos if its an adsense search bar. It's ok if its just a normal custom search, like on Blackle. The adsense version is against the tos for the same reason you can't have their ads near pictures or anything that might mistake the ad for content. If you make an ADSENSE search bar look like content on your page then its against the rules.

    adsense currently integrated adsense for search and custom search.
    i'll still look into it.
    the site has an auto updating content on the blog.
    i'll just put in a good energy saving article on the main page. that should help take care of no content issues
