Question for you all. I am trying to dig down into my Adwords search terms, and am having some problems getting down to the details. When I run a "Search Query Report" under reports for my account, I come up with several search queries that show up as "101 other unique queries" that were searched for that were clicks to my campaign. My question is, how can I get down to the exact detail on what those queries where? I tried seeing them with Google Analytics, but with no success. Any ideas? Thanks, Kurt
Annoying, isn't it! There's no way in Adwords to get this data, but you can get the data in Analytics, once you do some tinkering... http://ads-optimization.com/adwords/adwords-secrets/adwords-actual-search-queries.html This explains how to set up Analytics to report search queries (apologies to whoever invented this solution, couldn't find the original post about it). It'll still only tell you about the clicks, not the impressions without clicks, but it's an improvement...
To me, this is the Holy Grail. It is unfortunate Google doesn't aggregate data this way. Very slick solution to getting detail on the "101 other queries", tho. I'm going to give that a try.
