Hello everyone, I wanted to get the word out that Luminate has opened up a self-serve platform called Luminate Direct. You can find it at http://www.luminate.com/#advertisers Luminate is a google backed startup that serves overlay ads on contextually relevant (keyword targeted) images. Some advantages of Luminate's in-image advertising: Keyword level targeting Average CTR = .85% CPC auction pricing model (Bid only what you want to pay per click on each keyword) We have over 1B Monthly image views (120M monthly uniques) The advantage of our self-serve platform is for smaller advertisers to test the quality of the traffic and get up and running by themselves, as we are a startup and basically don't have the manpower to help with each individual account. The other good news is that our keyword auction isn't so popular yet, and is quite cheap (avg CPC ~$.12). We will of course be available to facilitate larger media buys...so drop us a line if you want a lot of traffic.
