Too many variables to answer you accurately. Depends on your site niche/market etc. A site that receives only a few hundred visitors per day of highly targeted traffic can return considerably more than a site receiving 1000`s of visitors per day of surfers who are purely looking for free content (with no intention of buying anything).

100,000 uniques per month to a low paying niche.
20,000 uniques per month to a high paying niche.

I have seen websites that make million dollar plus sales having only around 1K uniques per day. And there are sites which does not even make 500 per month from way more traffic then that. So it kind of depends on the niche. But yes more uniques in general is better.
