Update: In my first post I said spend $20/day, last month I spent about $70 in advertising. Revenue was about $1,070, profit of $1,000. Sorry for any confusion, it isn't as high as $20/day.

why sell a site for $8000 that makes $1000 a month? Unless you really really need the money, that's a bad move.... or your site doesn't actually make that much.

 

I'm not selling it for $8,000. That is the starting bid to get things going. Please do not comment on the profitability of this site, I don't fib about those things. All stats would be confirmed during due dilligence. If it doesn't get to my internal reserve price I will not sell. What that number is I am not quite sure, but $8,000 isn't it. I thoguht that would just get some bids in.

I can not talk for others, but there are two things in your listing that turn me off:

1) Posting inaccurate information (i.e first you say to spend $20/day to keep at this level, then you say you spent $70/month)
2) Starting auction at one price, but then saying you have a higher, unknown, internal reserve price needed to make a sale
