    Site Description:
    hourofmusic.com
    Registrar: Namecheap
    Host: Host Gator

This website is based off a popular drinking game called power hour. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_hour)
The plays music videos from youtube and changes the song every minute, and the visitors take a shot of beer.

All coding and design are original.

Visitors can suggest songs to add to the playlist, which can be approved or denied in the control panel. If a video is removed from youtube the site will replace it with another video.

I listed this site on here about 2 years ago and decided not to sell it. I had the site online for a while before I shut it down for about 4 or 5 months, I just recently put it back online. I never put much effort into advertising or SEO for it. The site has a lot of potential and is a noncompetitive niche.

I tried putting adsense on it the for a short period before removing it because I wasn't getting any clicks. The site is non monetized.

Free domain push to namecheap. Also, I will install the site with your host if want me to.

I think that is a great idea.

It needs to look a little more web 2.0 ish, IMO.

I disagree, although Web 2.0 is a "popular trend" right now I think it tends to be boring. With this site I wanted to do something different so I went with kind of a retro design by adapting the 80's ghettoblaster boombox. It does a good job of grabbing the visitor's attention.

This site has a lot of potential, according to google keywords the term "power hour" alone gets over 246,000 searches a month and this niche has little competition.

Power hour is a very popular drinking game at colleges. With a little of marketing through facebook this site has a chance to go viral.

is the game unique to you? I know you said its based on the other game but is it your game? if so do you get full rights to it and it will never be sold again?

    Thanks in advance.

I like the site but wondered would it conflict with the 'original power hour' game... even though they don't have anything like this... would it need re-branding into something else?

The game is not unique to me, it is a popular college drinking game. Usually people will download premade playlists or watch them on youtube. The problem with the playlists is they are the same everytime you play them. This site allows visitors to play power hour without downloading anything, and the songs are random so it is different every time you play.

With the sale of this site you get all the files and I will never sell a 'clone' of it.

I know there is a company that sells a program that lets you play power hour from your iTunes, I'm not sure if thats the one your talking about. This site is completely different from that, so I doubt there will be any issues.

Also, since the songs are played from youtube there shouldn't be any copyright issues.
