    Hello,
    I am selling digitalPostcode.com.

    digitalPostcode.com is a brand new website.
    DigitalUK (the people handling the digital switch over) today launched a post code checker to show people in the UK when they will be switching over.

    This site is likely to be one of the first custom coded sites that offers remote checking from the official digitalUK website.

    Design and coding is completely 100% unique by me. The coding is also valid XHTML/CSS markup.

    Does DigitalUK provide the script for you to use or have you written it yourself? Does it use their API or something?

    I have written it myself 100%. The script on digitalPostcode.com scrapes the results from the official site and then displays them on digitalPostcode.com.

    DigitalUK has no API.

    Looks like a nice script, one of my clients might be interested in this as they live in the UK. Do you offer support if the script breaks or malfunctions?

    The way the script works would look the same as a regular visitor.
    I doubt that would happen as the DigitalUK site is a high traffic site anyway.

    The advantage of having the site check the official site, is that digitalpostcode.com is dynamic so all the information will be correct - no outdated database issues.

    Thanks, its worth it as it is one of a kind (as I am aware). This leads me to my next point:
    Assume that no traffic or marketing work has been done.
    The official site only started offering the postal code search services today! Therefore its practically on top of the competition (if any). :)

    I am off to bed now, so any new questions will be answered in 6 hours time :D
