I would like to solicit the design community to participate in a unique contest. I recently started a mobile development company and need a logo. I would like to approach this contest in two phases and payout the top designers. The first phase is a "CONCEPT" phase, which means I am soliciting ONLY creative concepts with no changes. Feedback will be minimal as I will be most interested in creativity and quality. I will choose a maximum of 3 designers to participate in the second phase. The second phase is a "REVISION" phase, which means I will provide detailed feedback and request updates as needed to flush out the winning design. The top designers shall be compensated for their efforts. Here are the rules at a high-level (READ CAREFULLY): Phase I Concepts ONLY with No Revisions Minimal Feedback will be Provided Choose Maximum of 3 Designers for Phase II Initial Payment of $5.00 Each for Top Designers Deadline Midnight PST, Monday, July 6, 2009 (Due to Holiday) Note: I am paying ONLY $5.00, because I want to make sure the top designers participate in the second phase. If they choose NOT to participate, fine. The concept with no deliverable cost me $5.00 each. If there are less than 3 top designers, the top designers will split the initial monies. Phase II Revisions as Requested Detailed Feedback will be Provided Choose Only One Design to Win Final Payment of $10.00 Each for Non-Winning Designers Final Payment of $45.00 for Winning Designer Deadline Midnight PST, Friday, July 10, 2009 Note: The total payouts will be as follows: $15.00 possible for non-winning designers and $50.00 possible for winning designer. If there is no winner, all designers will receive additional $10.00 for a total of $15.00 each. Brief and Requirements The logo is for a mobile development company, which will develop applications for the iPhone, BlackBerry, and Android platforms. It must be professional looking and quality is key. All concepts accepted and please WATERMARK ALL designs.
