    Hey,

    i am starting a site/forum which i intend to buy alot of unqiue content, now my question is this;

    Will placing the unique content into the fourm as a post be as affective as putting into a site?

    please ask me if you are not sure as to what i mean.

    no I don't think so. Mostly forums have unique contents, writen by different users, putting it on blog or smth like that will be more usefull.

    Hey,

    well i was going to make an articles type section within the forum, containing 100 - 800 word articles.

    would these be better within a blog, content site or just in the forum?

    Personally I think as content or as blog, as they are likely to be less 'deep' in your website heirachy and easier to optimise

    Don't waste it on your forum - drop it on a blog with proper SEO and Google will eat it.

    I totally agree 100%. If the content is dropped in a forum it's not the same as having it designated to a specific page and with keywords embedded in it, plus there are the keywords in the page title that add to the search ranking.

    defaintely dont use it in a forum. Google will LOVE it if you just use it on a site.
