Unique content & duplicate content, what is the effect?

Duplicate content is a problem and something search engines do not like. When submitting articles or doing blogs one should consider this and better to do 3 articles/blogs on different topics to 3 sites than 1 article/blog to 50 sites.

 

Mind without brains can only think about duplicate content.

 

Its not that simple, and to not generalise. My site would not be informative enough if I would not have duplicate content, because there are announcements, that I need to have on the site, because the visitors would like to see all of them, not only those that I produce.

Of course I add comments that are unique and I add articles that are unique, but I need the copied stuff

 

You wont be penalized by google if you use duplicate content
and its gud dat u r gvin the authors a backlink (for duplicacy)(if you do)
mixture of original and duplicate is i suppose a fine way.

I don't think there's any harm as long as it's considerable, however, it's good for you to generate your own content, copying or plagiarism is stealing, If all you have in your website is copied verbatim from one particular website, it could raise eyebrows, google might penalise you

 

Yes Plagiarism is not OK but I do not think that duplicate content is penalized as much as people think !

 

You all may right but you can go through any content and then you write in your way and don't copy it to avoid de-index by google Search Engine.

 

i think duplicate content demolish ur site as will as ranking and further u will banned by google ya if u want to take advantage u will ask from its author and than write it down the source where u take it
