Hi, I really worked hard over this script, I hope you people like it. Actually, I was reading one of the old posts on some forum..I don't exactly remember where, from which I got this idea.
So the URL is Dictod.com
Basically, it is a dictionary which gives its users the ease of use. For eg. suppose you want to know the meaning of the word, say "medicine", then you just need to visit dictod.com/medicine
Yes, it's as simple as that.
This even works for famous proper nouns. The script is extremely light on the server, as it utilizes the power of Google, and gets results from Google API.

Let me tell you, that the potential of this site is just great, just with a bit of marketing. I would have kept this for myself, but I need the money this month, so I am letting this go. There is absolutely no maintainance required!, Just needs marketing, and you count the cash
The domain name is really nice and is brandable.
Also, you can create a hype through myspace, in schools, and colleges, where people need dictionaries, etc.
I have also added Google Adsense, so that the site can be monetized.
The script does not when you use IE and a proxy together.

I'm getting nothing but server errors. Somebody must be maintaining something Looks nice though.

 

Most probably, you are behind a proxy/shared connection and using ie, then the script will not work.

Uh...nope. Dedicated broadband connection using Opera. Says "server error 500".

It can't be used with IE or just IE on a proxy?

No just (ie with proxy). It's working for most people.

Site loads for me just not the words. Using IE with no proxy.

 

Try using firefox. Let me know..Ill post a screenshot, for every one, guys its just a browser problem, will be solved if you are a coder, only I don't have time to do it.

well, it's an IE world...it kind of kills the value of the script for those of us who aren't coders...

 

Well, that is why I am selling the script so cheap..otherwise I would have sold it for atleast $300,
Just imagine, just a bit of myspace advertising, and it could bring you tonnes of visitors, and adsense income. Moreover, it's one of those sites, that have the potential to make it on the first page of digg.

Oh, I made this script from scratch (really worked hard)..I got an idea from an old post,called dnary or something. . Also, you can do whatever you want with the script or site.
