Unique Cell Phone Site - Text Bombing...

    well i bought this site like three days ago and my host isnt thrilled with my purchase. :mad:

    so now i need to dump is because i dont want any problems with my hosting and my main website, so this has to go. i paid $225 for it and as far as i can tell its unique. i searched google and msn for another site that does the same thing but didnt find one, just software that does text bombs.

    this could also be converted into some sort of text message send/recieving web based site. like email only it would be cell2email and email2cell.

    anyhow, start the bidding at $100.
    no stats or much traffic, sent a couple hundred by linking to it from my main site and made $1.70 off adsense. =\

    yea i bought at name pros, it shows numbers from UK that it works with however i have no way to test this. it DOES work with US number because i have tested it many times lol

    you can also add a tag to the text messages the person gets, www.yoursite.com or whatever...

    and as far as legal issues goes, it has a double disclaimer you must agree to before entering the page...

    I wouldn't take that site for free... talk about legal issues. A disclaimer can't save you with that site...

    Most people pay 10 cents to send and receive text msgs. The first time someone gets a $200 bill because of this site, who do you think they are going to come after?

    You can do the same thing through MSN, so I don't think that there are any "real" legal issues. ANything that could happen would have been come up against MS and there would be precident.

    Also if you can add a link at the bottom of the msg you can add a note saying if you don't want to recieve msg from this site again fill in the form "HERE"

    It would not be too much coding to check the numbers before sending the msg

    i actually gave up trying to sell it and gave up promoting it, to my amazment its slowly growing in traffic. but still i need to get it off my hosting, i really dont want problems with my main site...

    yea of course alot of the traffic is coming from DP, DNForum, NP and thoes sites. but im also getting traffic from prank sites, forums, and things like that. witch is cool because i have never posted this on any sites like that witch means people think its cool enough to post about it. or atleast i thought it was kinda cool =\
