I am selling a site of mine [B]http://blogcut.com[/B] - The site is a blogging resource site that provides free and more importantly premium WordPress themes. There also some articles on the site for bloggers written by me to help with the initial launch and SE rankings.

The Premium themes are priced at $14.99 and sell remarkably well, much better than I had anticipated. I put this down to the fact that the premium themes offered on BlogCut are some of highest quality themes available anywhere on the net (take a look for yourself). When someone buys the theme they are automatically taken to PayPal to pay for the theme and then given a unique download link (that only works once) to download the theme from. The site uses WordPress and a WordPress shopping cart plugin to do this.

The themes are used as "re-sellers" - This means BlogCut can sell the theme as many times as it wishes. The buyer only gets the right to use the theme, they can not resell the theme and it does not come as unique.

There is no specific knowledge at all required to run this site. It uses WordPress which is extremely easy to use and themes can be bought at very cheap prices from places such as TalkFreelance, DigitalPoint and of course SitePoint. All the themes on BlogCut were bought through these methods, I didn't design any of the themes on show at BlogCut.

You get everything you see on the site with the sale. I will also include five coded unreleased WordPress themes, I was planning to use 2 of these as premium themes and the other three as free themes. How you use these themes though will of course be your own choice.

If you require any more details please do not hesitate in asking! To let you know, I am selling simply because something has happened recently to me off line and I don't know how much time I will have to invest in online activities so I'm looking to tidy up all the lose ends ASAP (thats why I've set, what I would call, a very fair price!)

I would prefer PayPal as a payment method simply for ease but will accept any method the buyer is most comfortable with.

Revenue Details

Since February the site has made a total of $720 - In March the site made $345

All the sites current revenue comes from theme sales. I have not tried to monetize the site in any other way.

I also made an extra $100 by selling a sponsorship link on the bottom of the 'Softly Softly' theme I released. I didn't include this in with the other revenue details as this is an alternative method of income that you may or may not want to take (definately a profit to be made through it!).

Traffic mainly comes from other blog related sites, forums, blogs using our themes and some search engine traffic

Who will be making the custom skins when requested, and who currently makes the templates that go on sale or are offered for free?

 

The templates were all picked up from various forums.

I have only recently set up the custom themes service and have not yet received any orders. My plan was to either do the design work my self or hire someone to do it then have a coder do the coding work.
