Constant Content has a new look! Both customers and writers have requested new features and upgrades; we’ve listened closely and created a completely revamped site to meet these requests and more. A new design, new features, expanded capabilities and streamlined functionality have transformed this site into the ideal marketplace to buy and sell content. Some new customer features include: An enhanced account status area. Customers can easily view items of interest, open requests, requests under review, new request messages, cart items, and more. Customers may also view “sent offers†from this area. This is a new feature that some writers may choose to accompany their articles. This “Best Offer†feature allows customers to offer to pay a lesser amount for the article which the writer may approve or reject. We’ve made over the cart and worked out some of the old bugs so browsing and sorting items is easier than ever. A simple checkout system makes purchasing content equally simple. Customers can now upgrade a license for the content they’ve purchased. Upgrade your usage license to unique or full rights. Upgrade your unique license to full rights. This feature allows customers to enjoy greater control over the content they’ve purchased by providing a licensing system that is more adaptable to suit specific needs. Customers will also find that the long summaries of our articles, tutorials and reviews are no longer indexed by search engines. This means that the entire work remains completely unique until it is purchased and removed from our site. Finally, we’ve installed a more tailored request system to ensure that customers have more ways to request exactly what they want. For instance, customers have the option to select multiple writers to work on a private request. We’ve also reworked the messaging system to make communication between writer and client cleaner—messages between the customer and each writer are now private. These requests will be easier to manage right from the accounts page because they are sorted for customers by titles and dates. Private and public requests are now organized separately making for the most navigable request system we could dream up. Some new writer features include: A new feature called “Your Recently Sold Content†lists any new content writers may have sold. Authors can now quickly check with the site to monitor any new developments for their work. Next, we’ve enhanced the submission process. Not only is the “unfinished†issue put to rest, but a more streamlined submission page makes for a clean transaction. When submitting work writers will find a brand new option called “Best Offer.†If a writer checks this box, they allow a customer the opportunity to make an offer to pay a lesser amount that they may approve or deny. This brings the element of price negotiation to the table—a feature that provides customers and writers greater flexibility. And, as the forum posts suggested—WE’VE IMPROVED THE REQUEST SYSTEM! Requests are more neatly organized by titles and dates making sorting them a breeze. Private and public requests are now separated. Within the requests, communications between customer and each writer are now private (while the posts are no longer public, CC still handles all contact and communication information). Writers will also be thrilled to note that when a customer responds to your “post†you will receive a “New Messages†flag under your account status AND receive an email. Other enhancements include the removal of submission dates so your content will never be termed old simply because it has remained on the site for an extended period.
