The business was originally a partnership. I bought my partner out in October 2007.

Traffic & Server Resources–

Since its launch in July 2007 the site has had -

2’441’000 Unique Visitors – or 244’000 UV’s a month.
Pageviews are 25.984’416 – 2’598’441 pageviews a month.

The site averages 50 – 300 readers online at any given time.

Bandwidth per month is approx 100 GB, disk space is approx 150 MB.


Income –

The main sources of income tried so far, (keeping in mind that the site is only 10 months old), is Adbrite & Link sales thru webmaster forums.

Adbrite
Adbrite Total – $9241.54

With bought traffic the site generates 0.35% click thru ratio but 1.5% with good search engine traffic.
I have not tried adsense as there is bought traffic but, long term , adsense is where this site will earn a fortune.

Link Sales
Link Sales Total - $3150 (I have not kept exact records of link sales).

Current link sale income per month is $264 on paypal subscription. (2 x Top Banner, 4 x Text links).

There is a potential $2500/month to be earned from link sales, using, for example, the current rotation script for the top banner.

Opt-in Email Marketing
Email marketing in September, hence the peak in traffic & income.

Affiliate Marketing
I have started affiliate marketing today with Hydra.

Pop-under
I have not tried Pop-under or pop-up which should, generate a lot of income.

IFrame Traffic Sales
IFrame Total - $300
We sold Iframe traffic initially, made approx. $300, but we stopped it as it is risky.

Why am I selling ?

I am selling because I simply do not have the time to add content & experiment with income streams.

*Please note – Adbrite ads are currently not being served to my adbrite account, (not the site). Consequently, I am trying other ad programmes, ie Hydra, Adengage etc.
As stated, the site itself is not blocked from Adbrite, the new owner may confirm this with Adbrite themselves & simply add the site to their adbrite account.


Suckered.us – The Future

The site has currently over 1470 articles. Imagine what it could generate with 100’000 indexed articles? Or more?
Additionally, you have 0 competition, there is no other site like this online &, in order to secure this position, I am selling all other possible domains that could offer a competitor an opportunity in this auction, please see Dynadot screenshot.

The site has HUGE potential, I think this is obvious.
What it requires, however, is more original content.

Why is average page/visitor is only 1.13 and bounce rate is over 92%? Do people even look at your site for more than 8 secs?

Your traffic stats are very confusion and Google analytics is showing you only get around 145,000 pageviews/month. You claim "2’598’441 pageviews/month", but Google analytics show you are only getting 145,000 pageviews/month.

I'm not sure where you get the "2’598’441" from, analytics show otherwise. Please let me know what I have missed.

The only other site in my adbrite account is celebpeeps.net.
You can check from that site that its traffic/income is tiny.
I have a screenshot of my adzones which I will be happy to email you...
