I have a friend who tells me he is getting 1000 visitors a day from a site www .nissaneurope.com but he can't tell if they are 'real' visitors. The ads on that site - are they google ads? is the whole site google ads? And how could it generate 1000 visitors a day for someone they don't know? There doesn't seem to be any mention at all of my friends site on this site. Any clues or explanations welcome
Its not a website first of all, what he has done is just parked his domain @ http://www.hitfarm.com/ ! And hit fram places related keyword ads from google for the website title he had provided. You can see more information @ http://www.hitfarm.com/index.php?action=step1 You can view his traffic details @ http://www.alexa.com/data/details/main?q=&url=www.nissaneurope.com and verify if what he told you was right. I think his traffic might be becuase of http://www.google.com/search?client=opera&rls=en&q=nissan+europe&sourceid=opera&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8 And some keywords related with "Nissan, NISSAN, Nissan Europe, Nissan corporate, Nissan events, Nissan activities, Nissan brand, Nissan brochure, Nissan test" Cheers, Dreamchaser
Thanks for that explanation DreamChaser. It's all a bit confusing! nissaneurope is not my friend's site - his site is about travel - but his stats show that nissaneurope is sending the 1000 visitors a day to his site. As far as I know he doesn't even run AdWords, certainly not nissan related ones in any case. On a separate point, I would have thought it infringed nissan trademark to run ads on that site?
