I just realized I received a infraction for "bumping" a thread. Ok that sounds like a reason to give someone an infraction.

    But...

    1. - The thread wasn't mine and I simply replied asking for information to be sent through PM, and I commented that the user is doing a nice thing by doing this to other people.

    2. - And it's not like the thread was year old. The thread was started 4 days ago and the last reply was a user also requesting the information about 20 minutes before I posted.

All i can say is you need to PM any mod here for your querry about infraction as starting a new thread complaining about infraction lead you to for another infraction

    DON.

Threre are three type posts that will always receive infractions/bans. These fall into categories:

    I'm interested.
    PM me details.
    PM sent.

Such type posts belong in a PM. See announcement in buy, sell, trade and 7 day ban sticky in general chat.

Posting and asking for information to be send through PM?
Why don't do the obvious and PM the OP directly? Isn't that easy and more efficient? And you have the cheek to open a thread complaining about unfair infraction? It was not whether how old the thread was, it was what you are doing which borders on being redundant and ridiculous.
