Recently i did a job for matt the owner of wackyarchives.com.
He asked me to place some advertisements on his blog.
After the job he paid me.
And now after a week or so he has filed a chargeback.
    What should i do?....
I tried to contact him but he's not replying....

Well, of course you have documentation showing exactly what he ordered and how it was going to be delivered, signed by both you and him?

That together with a copy of your final invoice, stating how many hours of work you did and that the task now is complete is really all you need to fight the chargeback. An acknowledgement from him saying he accepts your delivery would aslo help of course. Always collect proper business documentation and prevent/fight chargebacks.

If you haven't done this, well, then you yourself is to blame for not covering your work and business any better. You do lock the door after you when you leave your home? Just like you should lock and protect your business/work.

Do things right and quit complaining!

Chargeback through PayPal or credit card? If PayPal stress that the service/product was intangible as buyers are not protected by Paypal.

Also, what kind of chargeback? Is it unauthorized, not-as-described, not-received? The type can play a major role in the outcome.

for future thoughts - you could also ask for another form of payment if your worried about charge backs (money order, etc.)... but these also have their own pros/cons. as mentioned, you have to prepare your side of the case. best wishes!

Hey karan you didn't even complete the job. You were suppose to give me a list of files you edited to insert the ads. That was the reason I payed you $10. I've been clearly telling you over MSN and paypal messaging to send me the files to edit on the website but i never received the email. My email address is the same one you added on Windows MSN. Do not start a thread about me if you're not going to give the whole story. I have yet to receive your email about the list of files you edited.

so presumably you two will take it off-forum and get this thread removed. It sounds like a simple misunderstanding.
