I have been running a campaign for some time now about threemonths & allways had great & ok Scores the campaign is pretty much on auto pilot
so i know i have not changed anything in a bout 6 weeks all of a sudden all my keywords have turned to poor with crazy minimum bids

Can you take a glance at my page & see something I'm missing

    http://www.iconsmonster.com/down-load-icons.htm

Again I have changed nothing in a few weeks not a single character on the site or anything in adwords

    Thanks

4 of my campaigns were hit yesterday. It's because Google does not consider your single landing page of enough quality to merit the honor of advertising with them (because users will be less inclined to click ads in the future).

Anyway, you should build a mini-site around it to be accepted back in and get rid of that $10 min bid. Kieron's got a good post on it here.

Your site may not be optimized properly.

Put a few of your main keywords on the title tag. "Download icons" is too broad.

Put your main keywords at the beginning of the page with h1/h2 tags.

Link to 5 related authority pages from your footer.

These are just a few things you can implement quickly to boost your quality score.

I think they don't change but your site just be manually checked by human and flag for poor quality. This happend before about 4 month ago.

Your page, (while pretty and works for you), screams bridge page to them. Move that landing page to a new domain, (preferable an already indexed one), and you'll get your bids back down.

Thanks for all your imput I have still been doing the same on the content network so all is not lost .
I have redirected the ads back to the home page which is ranked & indexed to see if that changes anything.

it looks to me like just a 1page site ... how you managed to get away with it, might just be luck. Add some more pages: about, resources, articles, sitemap, privacy etc...

add a handful of short articles and google might cut you some slack, this shouldnt take no more than a day to build

    just my 2 cents

If you got slapped with $5- $10 bids your content traffic will get nuked very soon, trust me. So be prepared for that. Get a new domain, add: terms, sitemap, samples, contact, change your ads just a little, etc. + don’t forget to put text on your page that you use in your ad (not exact copy but very close).

    Good luck!

agreed, the content network will die soon enough.. any changes you do to your domain will take months and months to come back to life... even if you remove all commission links...

    No actually this is explainable.

On 20th Oct, Sat, Google shut Adwords down about 4hours for some 'updates'.

To PPC marketers, this means more bitch slapping, as Google updates its elusive algorithm to try to make us try to be even more relevant, those bastards.

Have seen my traffic drop 25-50% the past few days, but its slowly picking up. Lucky I diversify across MSN/Yahoo as well, so it ain't all that bad.

Guess nobody can really unravel Google's QS algorithm and its mysterious TrustRank code, except probably this guy..

Single page LPs get hit all the time with poor QS when Google realizes that it's just a bridge page.

I think it has more to do with other things (although only a single page matters), I think it has to do with the amount of advertising

Thanks for all your feedback I switched back to the home page didnt change things one way or a nother so I'm back to the normal page & again no change

The good thing to come from this is I'm getting a better idea as to where my sales are coming from as I now have no search traffic I will probably have to add more pages as suggested.
