Just the other day the unique visitors on one of my sites doubled, looks like yahoo decided to give me slot #6 on the SERP for a good keyword - strange thing is I wasn't even doing any SEO for yahoo I was, however, doing some for msn. The basic grunt way - lots of links with the right anchor text. I'v been doing the SEO for msn for about 4-5 months and suddenly yahoo picked up on it. Always placed good on msn, but BAM, yahoo bumped me right up. Anybody know if yahoo is changing their algorithms at all? Now all I gota do is crack the big G....
Congrats! But don't count your money until you see if it holds up. I was #12 for a very competitive keyword. Then I disappeared for about 2 months. When I came back I was #6, but then it was right back to 12. I managed to get it back to #9, but the other day Y! did something (cache and RSS feed both disappeared) and now I'm #20. I guess I better sign up for dancing lessons -Ramprof
