Hello all, today wen I woke up and checked my adsense earning. I was baffled.I got 5.63$ for 12 clicks. this is the highest that i have got. but wen i viewed my channels none of them gave me such money. 8 clicks from my blog gave .22$. the rest I dont know where they come from. I also have applied Dp adsense . So I think the rest 3 clicks would have come from DP. But I just cant believe that Dp could give this to me. Plz tell wat is going on. I have used all the channels for adsense except for DP.
It is better to add URL channel for DP and also all your sites. so that you can monitor from where you are getting clicks. Somebody may misuse your adsense code to ban you. So, always use URL channels to monitor your adsense hits.
yup.. very nice.. =) but me, when i woke up, i check may account.. still 0$ hehehe.. =) but im still waiting for chances.. hehehe =)
I'm sorry for being thick, but could you please explain this to me, or point me to a link to read? I just created a new channel in adsense like I would for a new site or page position (I track by site + page position), then when I was given the google code to copy and paste, I just took the ad channel code and added here. Hopefully you understand what I'm saying here. Now, when I read your post about adding a url channel, it sounds to me like you're talking about something different. I certainly would not want some vendictive jerk causing trouble with my adsense account, so if there is a better method of doing it, I would opt for that.
Thanks. Let me ask one last question on this, if I may. I have created the url channel per the instructions on that page. At the end of the page it says: "Keep in mind that because URL channels don't require changes to your code, there's no need to designate a URL channel when generating your AdSense code. Once you've created a URL channel, it will track automatically." I think this means that I can remove the channel data from my DP profile and even delete the old channel from my adsense account, and that any activity will be tracked automatically. Is that correct, or do I still need to plug in a code/channel number here?
