Google had a big algorithm update on June 18th that may have hit that keyword phrase. Check Search Engine Land for the article

Your site is suffering from (what is commonly known) as the "google dance". Its generally a good thing. Give it a few weeks and see where your site ends up. From my personal experience, 9 times out of 10, there is a sharp increase in rankings.

Also keep in mind that there is a rumored google update that is currently unraveling or about to unravel.

Have you been building any backlinks lately? Perhaps some that aren't relevant to you site or maybe some not so good ones?

You can check into your backlink situation just to make sure that everything is good there. Bad backlinks being created or a flood of sudden backilinks can have that kind of affect. I would check into it more to see if there might be an issue there.

May be "Google Dance" will be the main reason for your big changes in keyword. Cause when an algorithm update going on Google search fluctuate rapidly and it happens to me many times. So be cool for few days and keep checking.

Do you have any backlink checker tool involved?
