Uneven refunds

I noticed that I usually get 1.5..2x more refunds in the pay periods ending on 16th of the month rather than those ending on the 1st.

I guess it's because most people get their credit card statements at that time.

Anyone else seeing something like this?

They take an additional 10% off your total and hold it for 8 pay periods.

that would depend on the overall percentage.
If it's normal they don't take additional allowance.

    Huh?? I don't understand.

Edit: They also take refunds from your pay period, if they happen within 8 days of it ending.

if your refund ratio is abnormally high they may jack up allowance percentage to 20% and up.
You'll still get your money back just in 3 months not immediately

Oh crap. For some odd reason I misread your whole post when I replied earlier today. For some reason I thought you were saying that when people refunded, clickbank would remove 1.5 to 2 times as much from your account. lol.

So all that money they hold back for allowance gets put in a pot, and after 6-8 payperiods that pot will get added to the payperiods check?

Yes. It's just to make sure there is always money there in case someone refunds 59 days later.

I had a recent refund of $33, that sucked and they took the full amount of the product right out of my account. I thought it was very odd since they also hold 10-20% back from me for refunds

Yeah I noticed that as well, last pay period I saw $150 in refunds from a product which I shouldn't have ever promoted since I didn't actually check it out myself, must be horrible :D
