    Hi all,

I have a term consisting of 3 words which I would like to target. When I google searched yesterday morning, I got a result of 345,000 sites. I then searched the same term in the afternoon and got a result of 2,500,000 sites. I searched last night and got 345K results. I then searched this morning again and got the same 345,000 results.

Any ideas on why the results altered??? I had this issue with another phrase which gave me 500K results at the start. I invested a site in to it and for the past two months the results have been in the millions..

    Thanks

Could be a few different things. Your browsing history, region, web browser, Google data centres.

I guess that can be considered quite normal as google updates their search results very often. Sometimes in the space of minutes, so that could result in the variations of search results you are getting.
