    Hi,

I'm just about to run my first test ad-word campaign but there are a couple of things that still confuse me. I've created 9 different ad-groups and each group has keyword(s) and max cpc bid for that particular keyword, the most being £6.70 per click.

Now when I view my recommended budget it's saying £7 a day is OK? How can that be right? Is this because I haven't properly set a default max CPC for each group?

For example I have a group called "office space bristol" the current default for this is £5.50 and in this group I have 3 keywords with max CPC's of £1,58, £5.20 and £5,50.

    Sorry if this is confusing!

    Cheers

Ignore the recommended budget - it's hopelessly inaccurate.

Google hasn't really got the hang of estimate cost-per-clicks and the number of clicks that you will get for keywords in different positions.

If you believe that two keywords will deliver visitors of equivalent value, you should bid the same on both of them, regardless of what Google says...

Ignore the recommended budget. Set your own budget that you're comfortable spending everyday.

Geez, office space must be a very competitive market! Just curious but if it is your first campaign what makes you think you need to bid so high? A quick check just showed you only have 22 competitors for "office space bristol" and only 8 for "office lease bristol". If I was looking for offices I would probably check out all of them anyway!

All it means is if any keyword is clicked on and it is less then your daily budget, you will becharged. You might get one click and your daily budget is hit and that would suspend your account. Why dont you just add some money to the account and not worry about it.
