    Hey guys,

    I have not been paid by Cj for singlesnet commissions for a few months.......I thought I was being singled out, but when I would call CJ they would simply say that I had not accrued enough commissions for payout....I know they had a "threshold" minimum change I believe in aug or sep this year...but still I was not paid....by oct my commissions were over $200 dollar, not much, it wasn't the money, I have other sources of income, but was perplexed by the lack of payout...?

    I called CJ to inquiry no less than 4 times, inquiring about why the $200 dollar had not been forthcoming, since they were "locked" commissions.......................they kept saying.."oh it should be payed this next payperiod" for 3 months I heard that.........!

    So I guess they just decided to sit on it, until no one was looking?

    Then out of the blue....I receive an email on Dec 22...;

    Commission Junction is currently investigating your account and has the following inquiries regarding your promotional methods:

    Why is this sort of thing turning up in your traffic?

    hxxp://denver.backpage.com/NoString...hink this was at the direction of Singlesnet?

    You have 5 business days to respond. That is plenty of time even during the holidays. Your response doesn't mean they have to respond during the holidays however.

    This is also a standard form letter they send out when they question some of your promotional methods. A lot of publishers do not allow for classified advertising.

    Just outline in your email that they are paid classified listings, and advertising dating services is 100% allowed based on that site's policies (state that it is NOT similar to Craigslist marketing). They should be fine with that.

    I don't think it's anything to worry about. I'm a new publisher as well and they sent me a similar letter. I have read that they don't start making regular payments until after a few months have passed and they've had time to check your traffic.

    thanks,

    I realize everyone is getting these letters right now, but there are two
    things that were not the norm in my case;

    I'm beyond being not sure or guessing or new, in as far as knowing the monies should have been dispursed by now....Cj agrees, when I speak with them on the phone as well......so it's not a "I'm new thing"

    they stopped months ago, yet my commissions were ready to pay, and "locked" which means it's just a matter of the next pay period for dispersal (I've been paid by them in the past)

    and the email specifically calls about my method of "no strings" section....

    maybe I'm wrong, but these circumstances are a bit more than mere chance... I'm actually hoping to get a response from someone specifically that has had issue about their advertising method......maybe they were intending to hold my
    commissions based on my advertising method, and simply taking advantage of the "form letter" to bring it to my attention?

    CJ suspects you of using spam tactics which is against their TOS so you need to explain to them that you are not spamming and those backpage ads are okay. That is assuming you are not spamming, if it was spam they will probably terminate your account and keep your money. I doubt if the wording of your ad is the problem.

    Also try speaking to the singlesnet affiliate manager and see what they say.

    Hey thanks,

    with your feedback I realize that I wasn't spamming and that instead my paid sponsored ad should not be a target the suggestion of spamming.

    So I formulated a response indicating that it was in fact was a single paid ad, and not what they assumed as spamming their site....

    I think I'll be ok, I even offered to provide them proof in the form of receipt to verify my ad purchase if necessary...

    I feel much better now......thanks guys...! I really appreciate it...!

    I am with another network and running Singlesnet. This is the first day I ran it and I got 3 conversions out of my first 10 clicks. Since then...

    I don't know whats up but they have to be scrubbing the hell out of the leads. Anyone having this problem?

    I know the former head of affiliate marketing at Singlesnet, and from my conversations with him, it appears that they're not scrubbing at all. In fact, when one of their networks was underreporting the numbers on their backend by 10-15%, Singlesnet was very concerned because if affiliates don't get paid, they stop promoting.

    I've promoted Singlesnet for a while, and the conversion rate differs drastically from traffic source to traffic source. How are you getting traffic to the offer?

    Good I am glad you got your payment....when things are locked for more than 2 months it is the Vendor did not pay not CJ.....don't post on paid backpage that .30 you spent for the ad is not worth losing everything.
