Welcome back Johnny! Thanks for sharing and confirming what many of us have said all along...that there are many good Iranian people. Can you share more about your trip?
do you have more pictures, a blog of yours of something , would be interesting to view and read all that info about ur trip as gtech requested. please share
it comes as no surprise to me that iranian people enjoy these parties, indeed they enjoy life enormously behind closed doors. have been trying to tell you folks for some time now that of all the middle eastern countries iran is the least fanatically religious, well that is most of the ordinary people aren't. the government present one face and the people show another, albeit in private. in fact there are americans who are probably more fundamentally religious than most iranians. they are a genuinely fascinating, fun loving, and intelligent people. i know you won't believe me on that, but honestly, they are.
Let's not forgot it was the Iranian people who over threw the Shah government and help established a theocracy. That being said its no surprise that there are Iran people who like to have fun, who like American and want to be part of the rest of the world which is different then what their government is publicly showing. Part of that reason is that there is a lot of young people in Iran I believe 60-75% (Can't remember the stat but in that range) of the population are under 30.
Ok, lol. But trust me, I went to iran about 2 months ago, theres ALOT of these things going on, all my cousins and even my uncle have a girlfriend haha.
you missed my point... any invitation for me left, so I can join the party... and see it with my own eyes...
probably the club owners brough for them, but it seems pretty simple a jeans , bra and a transparent top with art work.
there are shops over here that sell only women's lingerie where only women go in as well, the men just stand outside waiting for them with a slightly embarrassed look on their faces. i think it is the same everywhere, unless a man has a fetish for women's undies!
