Uncoded Web 2.0 design for Video website [$250 Price]

with black do you mean the background, the overall theme must be dark, or just few elemnts must be black, do you want the content area to be dark aswell or bright?
I'd liek to know this before I start

 

Perhaps only black for the header and the player. I'm open to suggestions, so whatever you think would be nice, you can be creative.

Thanks for your entry A few suggestions:

- The site needs a much stronger logo.
- I would expand the red menu container to the size of the other containers.
- I don't like very much the main container's color, maybe desaturate it to gray, if so maybe also change the background to pure black, no gradient so It doesn't lose contrast.

Thanks for your entries guys, here is some feedback:

mac crazy - I really don't like the logo, it's very off of the design. Also the stars in the body don't seem to work very well. Also the tags color is black, can we change that?

MikeEisMe - It's a good start. I would play with the colors specially the red seems to dull, maybe give a bit more saturation. As for the logo, I like the sphere, but maybe we can give it a personal touch so it doesn't look too plain. Also in the main logo, maybe you can work with the effects, the logo on top seems too "plastic", try making it glossy & clean. Finally most of the containers feel "empty" so maybe work with the sizes, colors, and fonts.

Tevion - A few suggestions: 1) The logo has to stronger more elaborated, right now it looks too weak and even gets lost in the page. 2) The width of the overall design is way too big, maybe reduce it a bit to a max of 800 pixels.

MikeEisMe - It is better but still not quite there. I really don't like the header, maybe we can try making black. I also don't like the solid line black border for the containers and menu, maybe user a light gray. I don't like the TV logo, but on the other hand the player and the logo in the palyer are great! I would try using the player design you just made as a base for the rest of the design.

Also guys, my computer is having some trouble with Imageshack (maybe I got a virus) I cannot see some imageshack images for some reason, can we use other service like hideinfront.com ,Thanks

Sairos - Excellent, I really like it. A few things: 1) Can we make the player black. 2) Also Can you come up for with a preloader image for the player? 3) The part in the main page where it says Watch Upload Share looks a bit empty, can we try something to make it look a bit less empty.
