I'm looking for some help by PayPal experts here. Anyways, today, I received a PayPal payment, but the sender accidentally sent it to my email that I do not have it connected with my PayPal account. I don't want to open up a new account as that would be violating the PayPal rules. So what I'm wondering is, can I just add this email to my current PayPal account and verify it, then would the payment be sent to my original account? Thanks!
Yes, You can just add that email your account , then you will just have to have access to the email acct and just confirm the email from paypal Paypal , Lets you have 6 emails I believe on one account Hope this helps
You can ask the sender to cancel the payment.I once had the same problem and I told the sender about it and he canceled the payment and re-sent the payment to my paypal account.
I would not bother the sender at this point. Add the new email address to your paypal account, confirm it, and as soon as money check in just remove the address from the account. I see no bad in doing that, and I'd rather take the hassle on my back than make the sender repeat the payment.
Sure possible, when that happens the receiver gets an email alert from Paypal asking him to register to get hold of the money. Like I said above, you can alternatively add that email address to the existing account you have.
You can add that email or create a new account if you already don't have 2 paypal accounts. You can have upto 2 accounts, (one premier and one personal). Regards
