Is there any way to unbury buried stories at Digg?

    Thought so. Thanks. :)

The mechanics are a bit of a Catch-22 there, though, if the people behind the site expect that to happen through any kind of organic means. People aren't going to stumble on the site to digg it if they can't even see it in the first place. o_0

Agree with serverunion :) anyway, don't insist if you cannot make a successful digg. this just means there's no real interest on the topic :) just try to find a better perspective or to find a way to make your topic really really attractive. If people will find your topic interesting, they will digg it without need for you to worry :)

So then would it be acceptable to resubmit the link with different copy? Isn't that duplication?

I'm not really heartbroken about this, it's just that I don't think it was really worthy of burial as until that point it was receiving a healthy amount of diggs.

So I just went ahead and resubmitted it with a description which was a good deal less "OMG CLICK HERE PLZ" and more "Hey, this is a cool site..." and it's still visible after a couple days; hopefully it'll remain searchable -- that's all I really want. Guess the trick is to show that the link is interesting.

Thanks for the help, all. :)
