Hi. I want to create a ten question survey on my website and I would like to use an “unblockable†DHTML pop up to direct some of the leaving visitors to it. It would be an exit pop up I believe, only for those visitors who did not take any action and leaving my site. I wanted to purchase a software that would allow me to create a DHTML pop up but I was informed that the popup relies on the page to appear, and because the exit() events in all browsers do not permit the running of same-page script. In addition, there is no longer a single browser or operating system that allows external windows to be created involuntarily by default. So my question is this; how would you make a leaving visitor who did not like something on my site to fill out a survey? I have seen pop ups that appeared right after I clicked the back button. For example newsletter signup form, coupon-code offer or the like. I can create a DHTML pop up that would appear on the page after a set of time but I really don’t want to deter or bother those visitors who might want to put something in the shopping cart. I just want to make exiting visitors (who did not take any action) to fill out this survey. I will appreciate any suggestions or recommendations for a script or a program that would be a remedy for my problem. Thank you Laszlo Sztancs owner www.1printer-supply.com
