Since a couple a days I have a hosting problem (500 error). My provider told me that I have a script who is using more resources then the shared hosting server allows. BUT, I only have 1000 uniques/day for all my sites. From my point of view, that wasn't enough to explain it. So I dug a little bit in my stats: www.afreesurf.com (Proxy site that I closed this morning. I must know what happenned...) Last 5 days. Stats from my hosting Thursday : 483 uniques Friday : 403 uniques Saturday : 508 uniques Sunday : 53,835 uniques??? Monday : 75,964 uniques??? Most of this traffic came from : 163data.com.cn I don't think it's a "legit" traffic, because Google analystic gave me only 11 uniques yesterday and Adsense +/- 125 impressions. Any ideas??? Thank you

Ok, I got it now... Example: www.dompass.info and enter http://olivierbonnet.canalblog.com/images/paris_hilton_1.jpg and click SURF Results : http://www.dormpass.info/index.php?q=aHR0cDovL29saXZpZXJib25uZXQuY2FuYWxibG9nLmN vbS9pbWFnZXMvcGFyaXNfaGlsdG9uXzEuanBn&hl=3ed I put this link somewhere between (img) when 100,000 peoples can see it and BINGO! I'm dead...
Yup, exactly, I had a bunch of Iran based bloggers using my proxies for the same thing, posting pics of babes.
Here's an update... Yesterday, I removed the proxy script and killing the hotlinking. I keep my page online with a text and Adsense adds. I dug in my stats and all of the traffic want to reach yahoo.com. The link was www.afreesurf.com/index.php?hl=f5&q=uggc://jjj.lnubb.pbz and you were automatically redirect to yahoo.com directly bypassing my website. That's why I had 75,000 uniques visits, but only 100 impressions in Adsense... So, I redirect this link to my home page. Just try the link www.afreesurf.com/index.php?hl=f5&q=uggc://jjj.lnubb.pbz. I hoped keeping the 75,000 uniques and having more Adsense impressions because now they reach my page instead of Yahoo. The problem is, that my Adsense impressions are not higher now even if I still have 75,000 uniques... Any thoughts on this?
Let's try something else... I will park the domain at Sedo and we will see if the impressions / clicks will be higher
yeap the best you could do sedo or park it on bodis 75000 uv ?! cool but they may used to use the proxy to show pics in this way you wont have the thing you are looking for
Now parked on Sedo. 1418 visits in about 30 minutes and 2 clicks received. Europe = 58,8% North-America = 21,5% Asia = 13,3% South America = 4,5% Africa = 1,7% Oceania = 0,3% omidse = The link they use go to Yahoo.com home page.
Site takes months to sell on sedo, I paid $40 for the special promotion, didn't do anything, no views. Waste of time, sitepoint or digital point are the way to go. Sedo is retarded.
