It might not be unbelievable but i never had this before. My main site currently is experiencing major traffic increase, however the eCPM was VERY low the last days, mainly getting 0,03 clicks or less. Due to the increase of traffic CTR also raised of course. the eCPM yesterday was below 0,50. I dont/cant name exact figures. Anyway, today many clicks are worth 0,50 dollars with the same CTR i have + traffic (about the same as last days) means a huge increase in revenue. I wonder what caused this to happen. I didnt see any different ads appearing on the site, nor did i experience an increase in CTR, its just thge eCPM that raised rapidly over night. How does this work? Hope some of you can shed some light into this. I already reported the increase to Google pointing out the traffic increase as the reason. That was yesterday, after that message was sent my eCPM started to grow. I cant be happy about this. Its just too weird.
It could simply be because an ad campaign that an advertiser is currently running that is offering a higher payout. I have seen this sometimes on weekends. I would get plenty of toshiba ads and my revenue would increase while the campaign is on-going.
Of course i have thought of that, but i forgot its weekend and the keyword my site uses mainly could be a reason for a higher payout, since its quite actual at the moment... Thanks for that info.
