A Paypal dispute must be raised within 2 months but if it is a chargeback then the card holder's bank would usually keep the option open for up to 6 months.

It would appear to be a chargeback and someone might have stolen a credit card to pay you and if so, you would be powerless unless you can prove that the card holder was the one who purchased from you and you can provide 3rd party proof such as a signature from the return receipt of a postage service.

It appears that you are not the only one who got cheated by this scammer http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=564730&highlight=dwings

one of my customer file a changeback almost after a year... so in some case a changeback can be done even after 12 months i guess... and about reversal, i think it can be done after 2 months also under special condition... that is why i dont use paypal anymore for business... i am happy with my new payment processing where no one can file a chargeback and reversal... :D and once they pay me, they are at my mercy.. and if i decide not to refund then there is nothing my customers can do other then lose money... but since i do good clean business so i made refund end of every month...

when i use to get a payment at paypal, i have to live in panic for a year beacuse i dont know when someone kick my ass by filing a chargeback.... but now i sleep in peace when i get a payment...

i am really sorry to hear that you lost the money and the site.... as now there is not much you can do...
