When I pay to a dp member, I'm using their papal id,
but when I buy a directory listing, there is no notes section.
Is there a way to enforce the notes section?

If you purchase a link via PM or a post here, I would usually just send them a PM and add whatever notes that you may want to add.

If you bought it from the site itself, you could try contacting the site owner. You can always email that email address used in Google.

    Thanks.
And it's funny they don't give an option to write footnotes just as in the indirect purchase.

Under normal circumstances, there is usually no need for additional notes. I guess it may be a limitation of the directory software which does not permits it or that if they use Paypal, that option is not enabled in the paypal order form. It is not something enabled by default and it is hidden somewhere in the background.

When one purchase their, using the seller pp id, he gets an option to write to them. Think of it as an email inside email. This email may include whatever you wish, hence you can write footnotes to yourself: (Purchased from XYZ, a DP member)

But when you buy from a directory, there is no such an option.
I think I'd be wise for pp to add this option.

    Unless I'm missing something.

Like I said, it depends on what directory script they are using, some may or may not offer customization. On the Paypal Buy Now form, there is an option to include an additional field during the creation but most scripts probably just use the default setting which left out the field.

Which directory are you referring to and which script are they using ?
