Unable to start PhpMyAdmin via XAMPP

    I'm in the midst of creating a social network and I'm at the key, most crucial, part of it all. A database. However, I cannot seem to get PhpMyAdmin working.

    I go to:
    localhost/phpmyadmin

    And get a 404.
    According to XAMPP, MySQL is running. Apache is working fine (had a port issue with that, changed it from 80 to 8080.)

    I've been googling at least 3 hours (probably more) and I can't seem to find anything that works. Even tried the obvious uninstall/reinstall to no avail.

    After submitting this thread and then reading what I posted, I tried:
    localhost:8080/phpmyadmin/

    And it worked!
    I also feel kinda dumb I didn't get that earlier and wasted space on this forum. but maybe someone will find this that has the same issue in the future.

    Hi, i have problem on myphpadmin.
    -MySQL & Apache work just fine
    -Tried localhost:8080/phpmyadmin/ but didn't work
    -Just display an empty page
