Hi, I am having troubles to post links to any page on our domain, I always get an error message similar to this: Server did not respond in time when fetching http://mail-blacklist-checker.online-domain-tools.com/ (offline or too slow?). Code (markup): I have tried this over the last 2-3 months with different pages, even with a few very fast pages that load really quickly, but no luck, no single link was allowed to be posted. Could you please check it? Thank you!
Probably want to check your DNS servers... (6) Couldn't resolve host 'mail-blacklist-checker.online-domain-tools.com' Code (markup):
Hi, thanks for reply, here is how I checked it: nslookup: > server 8.8.8.8 Default Server: google-public-dns-a.google.com Address: 8.8.8.8 > mail-blacklist-checker.online-domain-tools.com Server: google-public-dns-a.google.com Address: 8.8.8.8 Non-authoritative answer: Name: online-domain-tools.com Address: 130.193.10.74 Aliases: mail-blacklist-checker.online-domain-tools.com Code (markup): It works with any other public DNS server that I tried as well (e.g. 208.67.222.222, 204.11.64.239). Is the domain without subdomain not working for you too?
Well I have tried some online tools here and there and I did not find any site that would have problem to resolve the domain. Do you use a public DNS server or your hosting's/ISP's DNS server?
Which DNS server do you use? And does it allow requests from the Internet? The thing is that I am unable to find any other machine that would have a problem resolving our domain. And according to our registrar's (300 000 domains) diagnostic, at least 5 well known public DNS servers have the correct information on our domain. Speaking of which, could you please try to resolve (ping) another domain? email-verifier-online-domain-tools.com Code (markup): This is with the very same registrar.
Same thing for that domain... ping: unknown host email-verifier-online-domain-tools.com Code (markup): The only thing I can think of is maybe somewhere upstream they have null routed the IP block(s) that the name server for those domains are on for some reason. I'll ask some of the upstream network guys to see why the name servers are unreachable for us and see what they say.
No, no one seems to know why... It's not a network issue because our end can reach your DNS servers. The only thing I can think of is maybe your DNS server is blocking DNS requests from our data center or something.
Looks like it might be resolved now... Testing... http://mail-blacklist-checker.online-domain-tools.com/
