I am not selling anything, I am hiring people

Therefore I have contributed to the community. Which could be considered a greater contribution than someone posting.

    REP was converted? itrader not?

Some people can use common sense. Obviously you can't, though.

You can still hire people who are posting offering services. You are contributing to their pockets. BST and the marketplace are just additions to the forum, there is a whole lot more to it.

With the time you have spent whining, you could have made some good posts and got likes, get on with business.

    Quit snivelling.

So, your hiring a few people is a "greater contribution than someone posting"?

The guy that does this posting makes it for free

You on the other hand pay money

If you would pay EVERYONE something, well, that would be a "greater contribution than someone posting", but you don't so your "argument" is invalid.

    See intro's quote

This Like system is there only to earn extra cash as some of people won't suck up to the admin who will give you like if you approve this system, and they'll pay. They've said you'll get a ban if you use Like system on inappropriate way, and they are actually those who are abusing it :D. But, what can you do. I expect him to say again the same "shit" and get more and more likes from the same people (ryan_uk; spoiltdiva; digitalpoint):D.

Because it is believed that iTrade was abused by some members, you know - create many users and give iTrade to yourself. Don't get me wrong, I'm on your side, just thought it would help you to know why :).

My argument is invalid? Read before you post "Which could be considered a greater contribution"

It most definitely could be considered a greater contribution than someone posting something. Why is posting a reply to a thread more useful than lining someones pockets for work? Paying their bills, feeding them..... vs informing them

Or better still, licking ass...... That is a greater contribution than paying some also?

    Please do explain

How is making a few post to give some people advice licking arse?

Shawn provides this forum for free. You can use BST for free. Is a few quality posts helping people/giving advice such a big challenge for you?

Jesus you are at it now, are your teeth brown?

Send him a valentines card if you love him so much. You'll get lots of likes then

In response to your rant and picture ( I have loved pictures since I was a child, helped express things I couldn't put into words.... good job btw )

Yes it is, I am mediocre at best in all programing, design aspects of board

I am the guy that would be more likely to ask for advice..... or better still pay someone for it

It seems like all you can manage is comments about arselicking.

Re-read this instead of crying about being mediocre.

But what are you doing for the people that provide you with the forum? How do your pennies in someone else's pockets help the bills get paid around here? You're on a webmaster forum. I'm pretty sure you have a general idea how things work, that hosting, programming and other stuff costs SOMEbody SOMEwhere SOMEthing.

It's a cycle. People who know things share things, people who need to know things come here to learn things. One couldn't function without the other. In turn, those people amount to traffic. That traffic makes money for the forums, it increases the likelihood of paid members, thus generating more money for the forums, thus increasing the chances the powers that be keep them going. Rinse, repeat. They're here because of the people and the people are here because of them. Everybody depends on everybody else. How frickin' hard is this to understand?

I am providing traffic (visiting to get work done) and contributing to the amount work available here for people which is an incentive for people to return to the forum (again providing traffic)

    Forum gets ad revenue.......

What part of that is so hard to understand?

Who's holding you here? I mean if you're so dissatisfied and disgusted with the process, why not take your 'traffic' elsewhere? No need to bitch and moan. I'm pretty sure your absence wouldn't make or break Digital Point anyhow.
