Unable to open JPEG files, Please help

    I have about 30 jpeg files that i cannot view or open, However there is about 5 files that i am able to view no problems, all the file sizes are ok about 1 megabit each so the photos are def there i am just fraustrated that i cannot open any of them, can someone please help.

    Using windows 7 64bit laptop

    Hope someone can help

    Maybe they're not JPEGs and have simply been renamed with the .jpeg extension. Double-check in it's properties or open it up in Photoshop. If the original extension's been changed, you'll see a dialogue box with info pop up.

    I think this may happen due to system viruses just scan the entire system and check it out, or might be the extension of the file may be changed. Just double check it.

    Hi,
    The file is been corrupted or either its not be properly Downloaded so its showing dis error ,
    Download the file properly again from wer ever u did ..

    I also often when downloading pictures, but pictures can not emerge. if that's his problem, I will try to be more careful
