Hello friends i have a wordpress blog like examplesite.wordpress.com which is running on free byethost5 hosting.When uploading a theme or installung plugin it is asking about hostname so i gave ftp.blab blab.com(for example) and then username and pw.But after entering tat it says "Unable to locate WordPress Content directory (wp-content)".I cant understand this help me friends.
why don't your browse through the directory and install the themes and plugins manually. You can go to www.yoursite.com/wp-content/ themes for installing themes or www.yoursite.com/wp-content/plugins for installing plugins. Go to these folders, upload the plugins or themes manually and they active the same from wordpress blog. It should work.
