Unable to edit Ad Thread?

I would like to edit my posted ad thread. When I click on the "Bump/Relist/Edit" it's only showing my the option to bump my thread. And the "Edit Sale" on the top doesn't seems to be able to edit the thread content too.

Please advice.

 

Can't really see why you're not able to edit your thread, but keep on trying. Maybe, it will work after after some time.
Is there any specific warning message you get after you use the edit option?

Premium Membership gives you the ability to edit your threads every 7 days. If you've just upgraded to the Premium Membership, you'll have to wait for some time for the system to make the necessary changes to your account. Have you already used this privilege? If yes, you will have to wait till the next week to be able to edit your thread.

If nothing ultimately works, the last option would be to report the thread and have it deleted. Then create a new one with the same details except for what you want to edit.

While waiting Staffs/Mods to respond in this thread, I would like to help you as I could. I am not Staff nor Moderator but I have seen few peoples have the same problem as you.

First, there are few steps to edit Title / Content in MarketPlace (Buy/Sell/Trade) forum.
To edit title/content of your thread, here are what you need to do:

1. Press / Click Bump/Relist/Edit menu available in the bottom of your sales thread. Look at the image below.
   
   
2. A pop Up menu will appear and you just need to press Bump Thread. Look at the image below.

   By doing this you will be able to Edit Title and Content of your sales Thread. A screenshot menu above tell us if anyone whom bumping thread will be able to Edit First Post in that thread. Thread Owner will have up to 8 hours to edit Title and also Content of that thread.

Second, How to edit Title / Content after bumping?
It was easy to edit title/content of your thread after bumping it. Use the "Edit Title" option under the Thread Tools menu (usually located in upper right section of the first post) or just use the normal edit button to edit the post.

"Edit Sale" menu will only allow us to edit setting of the sales thread (not title/content). To edit title and Content of your sales thread you just need to do the step explained above.

If nothing happen after Pressing / Clicking the Edit Sale menu.

There are few things you may need to do to make it works.

1. Disable Ads Blocker. Some users have the same problems and disabling Ads Blocker (AdBlock) sometimes make it works. DigitalPoint itself give us a notification in top of the thread saying if Parts of the site failed to load if user use Ads Blocker Add-On in their browser.
2. Use different Browser. Sometimes changing browser make it works.
3. Empty the cache and refreshing the page may solve the problem (rarely fix the issue)
4. Use another ISP. This is rarely happen but in my area, a service provider block a request which contain certain/special letters/words.

Here are few notifications which may useful for you:

1. While clicking Bump/Relist/edit menu this pop up appear.
   
   It mean you were not be able to edit Title/Content of your sales thread until the times come to edit it. "Next Allowed Bump" is allowed time to edit one of your thread. @Content Maestro already gave nice explanation about bumping Thread.
   This notification appear only if we would like to Edit/Bump/Relist Thread but we already did that in the past (in any thread). If we want to do that again, A notification menu will appear telling us if we didn't eligible to do that until specified time in future.
   A nice advice from the staff (available in this link: Cant Edit Title/Content of my Sales Thread):
   
2. Black pop up menu appear without any text after pressing "Bump/Relist/Edit".
   To solve this, just disable Ads Blocker as it block the menu from working.
3. Nothing happen after pressing "Bump/Relist/Edit".
   Did as the number two above or use another browser.

Last, I believe it would be easier for anyone to help you if you give us screenshots of what was happen when you try to edit your sales thread.

To summarize everything, you only able to edit sales thread after bumping it. Select Edit menu (Could be "Edit Title" in thread tools or normal 'Edit Menu' in bottom of your first post) and start editing it. 8 hours are max allowed time to edit title and also content of the first post.
