unable to connect my MS SQL 2005 database aith classic ASP page

    Hi there,

    I had to change my databse from ACCESS to MS SQL because of the provider's demand. I have created a database in MS SQL but its been a week now that Im trying to connect my database with classic ASP page and Im not able to do it. Can anybody please help me?Im using express edition of management studio. I have tried every connection string I can get my hands on still didnt get through. Im new to MS SQL and this is my first project so please explain everything in detail.

    thank you. The link was a great help. Could you please tell me how to get the same result, Ie; the connection string for my host as well? It doesnt work when I upload the page on the site. I think maybe the connection string I shall use for my host is different.

    Our host supervisor has left so I have to look into this uploading of this particular site as well.
