UN Calls for Immediate cease-fire in Gaza conflict

    The security council of the UN has drafted a resolution to bring an immediate cease-fire to the Gaza conflict.... what do you think is going to happen? Will it be veto'd by the US? Will it pass?

    Israel breaked many times Geneva convantion, disregarded UN resolutions and commited many times genocide.

    What make you believe they gonna respect this resolution?!

    Not a thing, I was actually just about too post inquiring what will happen if Israel refuses to cease its fire, what if Hamas reuses to cease its fire? This could get real dirty.

    I think the US government is sending an aweful strong message by not voting on the resolution. Thankfully they didn't veto it, but by not voting they are making it brutally clear that they do not support a cease-fire.

    I don't know what US will "really" benefit from supporting Israel in their war against Hamas in which half the people killed over 700 so far are civilians, and many of them children?
    You cannot have so much hatred around the world for you and expect to benefit from it .....
    I guess it will take 2000 more years for the people to realize that "hatred" is not the answer.
