Yesterday I was on their slow-ass web site that takes 20-30 seconds to load on my 20mbps cable connection and today their site is offline? What's wrong with them? They make a lot of money out of all the merchants and affiliates and don't even care if their service is down? Plus their forums are dead, everytime you try to post a question, some nancy comes along and says we're working hard to improve pdc and please leave a support ticket.... Sigh. Do you have trouble with them also ?
It's pretty upsetting to go through all of the work to make a product and promote it, to find out that your payment link is dead like I have today I quess this is why Mike Filsaime himself uses Clickbank!
But it worked yesterday sigh. Do you think that it will get back on ? WTF the owner uses a rival? It's like hearing that GMC's CEO rides in a honda. That's kinda sad to hear lol... I thought paydotcom was serious.
I was looking at programs to use/ promote etc a few months back and happened upon pdc, the first thing I noticed when looking around was the huge amount of server lag. I closed the page and never really went back again.
Yea agreed, I had a support ticket answered with a "We have received your ticket and will have one of our technical people contact you" - then when I received no further response I sent another follow up which was ignored. Nancy keeps posting the "It'll be alright soon" posts and the speed is reminiscent of my old dial up in 1999. Big Mikes focus is elsewhere what with Butterfly I think? I hope he gets it back together - he had a good empire of interlinking sites there for a while - but it all seems a bit neglected at the minute! Baz
its down now. its a great place to sell products at such low fees but the server is not stable. Occasionally, paydotcom will have downtime. It is bad if you are making thousands daily. Clickbank on the other hand is more stable. But the fee is bloodsucking.. You get what you paid for.
Mike himself uses Clickbank to launch the manuscript. Now that explain something. I honestly think that was the downfall of paydotcom.
It's sad that Mike Filsaime seems to be putting more effort into sending out $4!*@ to his list than building Paydotcom into a first class service. I am a member and I was really optimisitic about it for a while, but now I guess the results speak for themselves. T
It's a shame 'cos it could have worked well. The original idea (with a combination of Paypal and StormPay payment mechanisms) was quite good, until StormPay disappeared. I actually promote a product via PayDotCom (Article Post Robot) but I wish they'd move elsewhere as I'm certain both they and I would make more money if they did.
I think PDC works very well - never seen a problem with uptime or performance - it could totally rock. It's very feature rich. Problem is, no quality affiliates. I haven't generated any sales through affiliates on PDC - not a single one. I guess this is why CB fees are high, because you're paying for the product vetting process and promotion. It's a real shame as it could totally rule the roost.
