Something that shows your great with one glance, a pic or multiple screenshots will be great to do this. Also, try to get caught in what people out there or within your niche will like. After you get the contents out, it is very important to market it as well. You can try e-mailing authority bloggers within your niche so that a link to you can be done. Trust me, if your contents is good, they will link.
Man, that's a great idea for a Website! But having to always click on links to to read the rest of the posts is irritating. Cool site.

Brother, I think you are on to something with that site of yours. Advertise the shit out of it via click ads in search engines, articles and telling content sites lookin' for info about your site! Don't stop until you bleed.
I usually click on something that is interesting to me. It's about finding the right people to give your product to. You can't sell boxing gloves to old people (thought it'd be fun to watch) cus they probably wouldn't want them. You'll need to figure out who you want to market your site to then attack those folks
