I am offering up for sale my well established wedding reviews website built using the excellent open source CMS 'Joomla' and the wonderful extension 'Jreviews'.

This website was built with a mission – to allow brides to be to find genuine customer reviews of all UK wedding related services without exception. Whilst planning my own wedding, I grew tired of trying to find a website which listed ALL wedding related companies together regardless of whether they had paid a fee to appear there or not. But I didn't just want contact details, I wanted genuine user reviews too – I didn't want to risk using any company which couldn't be recommended to me by another bride – my wedding day had to be perfect and I needed proof companies were reliable.

Word of mouth is a very powerful advertising method, and this can be utilised extremely well with Ukweddingreviews.co.uk. I have had nothing but praise from many excited companies wanting to appear on the site. The website not only has an active review system in place, but it also attracts quite a few companies wanting to place banner advertising and text links on the site. Between April 2011 and April 2012 alone the site generated £2320 in advertising sales. This was with me working on it on a VERY part time basis.

This site has huge potential. It is designed to spread out across the entire UK, although it currently only has 19 counties/sections listed, it has had a lot of requests for other counties to be added. Sadly I lack the time needed to take this website to its full potential.

I have several different ideas for the site, both ways to grow it and ways to earn more income from it, but sadly to develop the site further I would have to teach myself new skills which I simply don't have the time to learn at the moment. This site could be enormous and extremely popular, as it has a genuine use and one which seems to be almost unique on the internet – a website which does not discriminate companies who do not pay to appear on the reviews section, but instead attempts to add every single one it can find with a basic listing.

The site needs automating – for instance I have introduced a £5 fee per url added with a company listing, but this is very difficult to police and manage manually as it's quite time consuming. There is an upgrade I can buy to allow this to be done for a very reasonable price, but currently all my funds are being focused into another project, hence the need for this sale to go ahead.

I am more than happy to give the buyer all of my ideas for the future of the site in case they wish to use them. There is potential for an online wedding store, forums/social networking on the site, advice sections and paid listings. Also paid classifieds. The site will only continue to grow in both size and popularity – and trust me, it is pretty big already!!

There is one very important aspect to this site – the buyer absolutely must allow all ads and links currently running on the site to run for the entire period each client has already paid for, with the same terms and conditions agreed to by myself at the time of the sale of each ad or link. I'm not willing to sell to anyone who cannot agree to this, as I don't want past clients chasing me for refunds if the buyer fails to follow through with orders already made and paid for. All responsibility for this will be handed over to the buyer as will the responsibility for refunds due if anything goes wrong with the clients advertising in the future.

As a website is only worth what a buyer will pay for it, I've decided to offer this site for sale to the buyer who makes the highest offer by 30/04/12.
